Adobe Bridge Tips: Faster Preview Load

Chris Orwig, of Lynda.com, has a nice basic video covering the CS4 Adobe Brige interface. One of the handier things he mentions is the ability to change the quality of the preview images so that they can load faster when you’re looking at really large files, or dealing with a LOT of files (like the 12,000+ jpgs I have).

The solution is really simple – just change the quality of the preview images. You do this by clicking on the two rectangle icons located to the left of the “star” icon on the upper right side of the window. Choose “Prefer Embedded (Faster)” for the faster option (durh).

The video covers this technique starting at 4:15.
